The wedding ceremony took place in Cuba at the Melia Varadero hotel.
The newlyweds wrote to us:
We had been planning the trip to Cuba even before the idea of getting married was born in my husband’s head. But we had talked about weddings and planning them earlier, and it was clear to both of us that we did not want a conventional wedding with all the demanding and, for us, unimportant trappings. And so the idea was born of combining our planned holiday in Cuba with a wedding. We approached two agencies in the Czech Republic that deal with this. Even in the early stages of communicating with Martina we were almost decided that we would have the wedding organised through her. Active, helpful and understanding communication was for us one of the most important things Martina offers. On one occasion we unfortunately needed help from her at short notice, and even though it was Saturday at 2 am she did not hesitate and helped us. As for the wedding coordinator at the Melia hotel, Anna, we can likewise only praise her. Willingness, helpfulness, a personal approach and an effort to provide exceptional service are entirely automatic for both these ladies. We thoroughly enjoyed the ceremony and the photographs, and we were satisfied beyond our expectations. We can both only recommend a wedding in Cuba, in surroundings among people who, though strangers, are nevertheless very kind, helpful and emotional. Indeed, these people, who voluntarily stood by at our ceremony and then at the photo session, waved at us, embraced us and wished us all kinds of beautiful things even though they did not know us, gave our wedding and the whole day quite simply an unforgettable atmosphere! And our honeymoon went on in the same spirit; thanks to the carefree nature of the whole wedding and the fact that it began immediately after the ceremony and lasted another week, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We spent an unforgettable 15 days in Cuba, during which we also had the chance to travel and get to know Cuba a little. This wedding and Cuba were an unforgettable and exquisite experience for us, which we can only recommend to everyone.
