The civil wedding ceremony took place in Italy at Malcesine castle.
The newlyweds wrote to us: ”Good day, Our wedding in Malcesine was organised relatively quickly, and so we had plenty of reasons to worry. When we arrived at the venue, however, we were astonished. The castle above Lake Garda is magnificent and even when the sun is not shining it provides the perfect backdrop for a wedding day. The wedding coordinator Pam was absolutely outstanding and we warmly recommend her to everyone. On the very first day she took us round the whole little town and introduced us to more or less everyone who had anything to do with our wedding. The florist, the hairdresser, the beautician, the cashier at the castle, the driver of the three-wheeler… everyone was incredibly kind and interested in how to make our day even more beautiful. After a few hours we already felt at home and could not wait for the whole spectacle to begin. The wedding itself could not have gone better, even though it rained in the morning. In Malcesine, though, they did not worry about it, and as soon as the rain stopped they promptly set up the outdoor version, the very reason we had chosen the location. We would especially like to single out the photographer. Francesco is a genius, and if you want photos like something out of a magazine – ask for him. Great thanks to him and to Pam, and to the other people in the Czech Republic and in Italy who helped make our day so beautiful.”
