Vanesa and Štefan got married on Madeira at the Quinta Splendida hotel.
The newlyweds wrote to us:
We are happy with the wedding. We had no stress because we had no worries about guests. Genuinely minimalist, just as we expected (originally it was supposed to be Thailand, but that was not possible because of the restrictions). Given the circumstances it was very lovely. The choice of the Quinta Splendida hotel was also very good; they have a genuinely beautiful garden. Lenka arranged everything for us, which took away the stress of the paperwork… The funny thing was that a few days before the ceremony the registrar who was supposed to marry us fell ill… Instead of meeting in Santa Cruz at the register office we had the meeting in Machico (which was fine, because we had stayed there for the first few days). Another amusing thing was that the registrar in Machico wanted us to marry there at her office, because they did not feel like going to Santa Cruz to marry us… Fortunately Lenka managed to sort it all out and everything went without a hitch…
