Petra and Tomáš got married in the Dominican Republic on a beautiful Caribbean beach
The newlyweds wrote to us:
We would like to share our excellent experience and the organisation of our wedding in the DR. I had the wedding as a surprise from my boyfriend, who proposed to me 14 days before we flew off on holiday. Because of that I really had no worries with sorting out papers and so on… I only bought a dress and looked forward to it ;). But even my boyfriend had that work made easier thanks to the excellent Martina, who arranges everything necessary in the Czech Republic, from translations of documents into Spanish to the required stamps. In the Dominican Republic everything went perfectly; Marta collected us from the airport after our arrival, drove us to the hotel and on the way we went through the details of the wedding.
The big day really was like a romantic film and it was magical. The ceremony on a deserted beach on the island of Saona, where the photography also took place with a photographer who, among other things, was with us throughout the wedding day. The ceremony was carried along on the easy waves of Caribbean music. After the ceremony, the toast and the photography we moved in a decorated boat to a superb wedding lunch right on the beach in a small village. After lunch we set off to relax on a beautiful beach, where we took a few more photos and devoted ourselves to resting, swimming and sunbathing. The last stop of our wedding day was the local attraction of swimming and snorkelling with starfish.
All day long Marta looked after us as if we were her own and fulfilled every wish she could read in our eyes, together with her crew and her husband Rudolf.
I would like to thank them once again, most sincerely, for an incredible experience for life. And if it were possible, I would gladly do that wedding all over again ;).
The following day a fifteen-minute formality awaited us at the local registry office so that the marriage could become official in the Czech Republic as well.
