The wedding ceremony took place in the Dominican Republic on the island of Saona.
The newlyweds wrote to us:
I would like to thank you very much for the organisation involved in arranging our wedding in the Dominican Republic. Since we only decided at the last minute, there was only a slim chance that anyone would arrange a wedding for us. We rang round several agencies and only “Mojecestovka” accommodated us. In under a month we managed to arrange all the legal formalities together, and Martina was at our disposal every day, even at the weekend.
Further great thanks go to the coordinator Marta, who looked after us not only on the wedding day. Since we came to travel around the Dominican Republic, she was at our disposal for example when hiring a car or arranging SIM cards. As for our wedding day, it was perfect. In the morning a driver collected us at the hotel and took us to the harbour, from where we travelled on a decorated boat (alcoholic and soft drinks were available the whole way) to a beautiful deserted beach, where we exchanged our vows and rings. We then continued to the island of Saona, where a celebratory lunch took place that was unforgettable. At the pre-wedding meeting we were able to choose what we would like to eat, so it could not happen that food the wedding party did not like would be served. There was plenty of everything and Marta fulfilled our every wish – for example we were able to break a plate. We ended the whole day by swimming among the starfish in our wedding clothes. It was a beautiful, unforgettable and crazy day! On Saona we had only a symbolic wedding, and on a weekday we went to say our “yes” before the judge in San Rafael. That moment too was a great experience for us and we are glad we were able to meet the judge.
Once again we thank everyone who took part in making our dream come true.
